A case has been registered against Bollywood actor and filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar. Controversy has deepened over his Marathi film 'Nay Varanbhat Loncha Kon Nay Koncha'. While the bold content of the film is constantly being questioned, two organizations have filed a complaint in the court against the controversial film, after which a case was registered against Mahesh Manjrekar. Women's Commission and Children's Commission have also shown strictness against the film. In the film, children are shown in a sexual act with women. In the teaser and trailer, Kashmira Shah was shown in an immoral situation with a child. Since the release of the trailer, many organizations have raised eyebrows on this film.

Case registered in Bandra court, hearing on February 28
According to the report of 'Dainik Bhaskar', two institutions of Maharashtra filed complaints against the film in the court. A complaint was filed against Mahesh Manjrekar in the Bandra Court in this case. This complaint was given by the Kshatriya Maratha Seva Sanstha in the Metropolitan Magistrate Court, after which a case has been registered against Manjrekar. Narendra, Shreyans Hirawat and NH Studios associated with the film have also been made accused in this case. DV Saroj, lawyer of Kshatriya Maratha Seva Sanstha says that the content of the film gives wrong message in the society. He has demanded that the film be banned. The matter will now come up for hearing on February 28.

Demand for action under POCSO Act
An application has been made to register a case against the film in POCSO court. Action has also been demanded against censor board chairman Prasoon Joshi. The National Commission for Women and the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights have also objected to the content of the film. The commission says that action should be taken not only on the makers of the film but also on the parents of the children working in it. Bhartiya Stree Shakti Sangathan's lawyer Prakash Salsingikar said that the film makers should be punished under the POCSO Act. On January 27, a case was filed in the sessions court under the POCSO Act. Its first hearing took place on 31 January. Seema Deshpande, president of Bhartiya Stree Shakti, said that the manner in which minor children are shown having immoral relations with women in the film, it is very shameful.

The story of mill workers on strike
The story of the film 'Nai Varnabhat Loncha Kon Nay Koncha' is based on the mill workers and their strike. The story depicts the plight of the workers' families due to the strike. It has been shown in the film that because of this people also fall morally. On the other hand, Mahesh Manjrekar has also clarified on the noise regarding the film. He said that his film has got 'A' certificate. He says, "We made the film and showed it to the censor board. Our film has been given 'A' certificate. The matter is in court now. We have full faith in the judicial system.

The trailer was released on 14 January
The trailer and teaser of Mahesh Manjrekar's film has been released on January 14. Some organizations have since raised the demand to ban the film. A complaint was also made to the police. According to the report, the National Commission for Women had demanded censoring of the objectionable scenes in the film's trailer, after which the teaser was removed from social media, but there has been no cropping in the film.

National Commission for Women chief Rekha Sharma has also shown strictness on the film. He said that a case should be registered against the parents who allowed their children to work in such films. National Commission for Protection of Child Rights Chairman Priyank Kanungo says that for showing children in such a bold film, a case of POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses) is made against the people associated with it. A letter has also been written on behalf of the commission to the Censor Board and the DGP of Maharashtra.
