Will the director-producer-actor’s crooning in Shaadi Ke Side Effects prove lucky for the film just like it did in Rock On and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara?
It’s not that Farhan Akhtar needs to prove anything to anyone, but it seems that he has proved to be lucky for directors in which the Karthik Calling Karthik actor has sung a song. The director-producer turned actor had lend his voice to songs from Rock On and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara and both the movies turned out to be super hits.
It seems like Farhan’s lucky talent has been taken into account by director, Saket Chaudhary, and music director, Pritam. The makers were of the opinion that Farhan’s voice had a great following among the youth. Also, the Luck By Chanceactor is playing a musician in Shaadi Ke Side Effects and therefore the song is apt as it represents the various happenings of his life at that moment. The song is a romantic number which shows him travelling to different colleges and fests, and singing and performing with his band.
Time and again filmmakers have used the lead stars to promote their film, like Aamir Khan inGhulam and Ranbir Kapoor in Barfi!. But this song is said to be going with the flow of the movie and has not been specially made to fit into the film. We would definitely want to hear Farhan crooning to another Sindbad the Sailor or Señorita
