On the release day of her film, 'Looop Lapeta' on Netflix, Taapsee Pannu posted a video of the Hollywood star Franka Potente (who appeared in the German thriller 'Run Lola Run') giving her best wishes for the movie.
For those unaware, 'Looop Lapeta' is the Bollywood adaptation of Tom Tykwer's celebrated cult classic 'Run Lola Run' and the directorial feature film debut of Akash Bhatia. While Taapsee has portrayed the character of Franka from the original film, her movie co-star Tahir Raj Bhasin enacted the role of her boyfriend, essayed by Moritz Bleibtreu in the original.
Interestingly, Franka shared a special video message for Taapsee on the social media, especially on the release day of 'Looop Lapeta'. Franka said in the video, "Hi guys, this is Franka. I think it is so exciting that you are shooting a remake of Run Lola Run after all these years. I am honoured. I think it`s really cool so I just wanted to wish you good luck. Good luck, Taapsee, you`ll be amazing and I can`t wait to see the film."
Reciprocating her love for Franka, Taapsee replied to Franka's message mentioning, "This makes it special looooooop number of times! Thank you, Franka! It`s launch day for Looop Lapeta and here we have the OG Savi, loooped along to win our hearts. #LooopLapeta streaming from today on #Netflix!"
