Rekha Did Not Want To Get Into Acting: Veteran actress Rekha has been ruling the Bollywood industry for many decades. He is definitely away from films at the moment, but he has made a tremendous identity in his acting career. Rekha has also been awarded the National Award for films like Silsila and Umrao Jaan. However, even after gaining so much popularity, Rekha never used to watch her films with passion. The big reason for this is her compulsion to become an actress.
Most of her fans know about Rekha Acting Career, who has achieved name and fame in the film world. However, hardly anyone would know that Rekha neither wanted to come to this industry nor had any idea of becoming an actress, but her dream was to fly high by becoming an air hostess. In an interview herself, the actress had told that despite her desire, she started working in the film industry at an early age, but she did not want to act.

In the interview, Rekha had told that both Kuljeet Pal and Shatrujit Pal were in search of heroine, when they came to Madras, someone told them that there is a South Indian girl. Speaks a little bit of Hindi. But I did not know Hindi. So those people came to see me. He came to my mother. Then started asking me- 'You know Hindi', so I said 'no'. He said, 'You want to work in Hindi films?' So I said 'no'. So he said, 'Okay, let us sign you by coming tomorrow.' I guess it was luck, so got it. According to Rekha, she did not like at all in the initial 6 to 7 years of her career. But, since it was the wish of his parents and at that time the financial condition of the house was also not good, so he had to choose acting under compulsion.
