MASTIZAADE Holds Well On Monday But On Lower Levels
'Mastizaade' was making waves due to presence of Sunny Leone. Film released on 29th, and was expected to score big according to pre release buzz. But film also faced stiff competition from 'Airlift' and 'Saala Khadoos'.
'Mastizaade' released today across 2000 screens in India. Yesterday film opened to 30% opening in India and mass centers did better on expected lines. Film was affected by India - Australia match as single screen shows are best between 12 to 6 PM. Still film collected 5.59 cr nett on opening day and it was less than release of last week ''Kya Kool Hain Hum 3''.
Film needed big jump on Saturday but grew marginally and collected 6.11 cr nett. On Sunday, the film added 6.75 cr to its kitty. Film dropped on Monday with 2.45 cr nett number. The film now has a four day total of 20.90 cr nett. The movie is struggling, and by the trend it seems it will end up below 30 cr nett.
