Born on March 24, 1979, Emraan Hashmi is one of the most sought after actors in Bollywood today. He made his acting debut with Vikram Bhatt’s Footpath and followed it with the erotic thriller Murder, which emerged as a box office success. Hashmi subsequently appeared in several hit films, mostly under the Vishesh Films banner (owned by the Bhatts). Critics, however, labelled him as a “one note actor” and criticized his repetitive roles. These characters also earned him the “serial kisser” title and gained him the title of “Hit Machine”. Hashmi eventually proved that he not only belongs to massy, but also classsy cinema with his spectacular performances in Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, The Dirty Picture, Shanghai and Ek Thi Daayan.Interestingly, Hashmi has acted in over 30 films till date, but he has never won a single award yet.
Hashmi is married to Parveen Shahani after six and a half years courtship and the couple has a son Ayaan Hashmi who was born in 3 February 2010. On January 15, 2014 Emraan’s four-year-old son Ayaan was diagnosed with first-stage cancer.
We ask our in house expert and astro numerologist Bhavikk Sangghvi to predict what the future holds for Emraan Hashmi on the eve of his 35th birthday. Bhavikk says, ” Emraan is dedicated towards his craft and is always at it. However, he will not get anything so easily in life and he will have to always struggle for it, but seems this man is ready for it. His next set of releases be it Ungli, Shaatir or Hamari Adhuri Kahaani may not be able to do brisk business at the box office; still his work will be well appreciated. But it will be his Hollywood debut in director Danis Tanovic’s next titled White Lies that will catapult him in to an international league”.
