As per Walker’s official Facebook page, the Hollywood actor was in his friend’s car going for a charity event when they met with the accident
Paul Walker, who shot to fame with Fast & Furious franchise, was involved in a car crash which took place on Saturday afternoon north of Los Angeles. The blue-eyed star and his friend didn’t survive the fiery accident and died. The talented star was just 40. Confirming the news, a statement was posted on his Facebook page which read “It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide.”
According to The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department the crash happened in community of Valencia. The Santa Clarita Signal reported a red Porsche crashed into a light pole and tree and burst into flames.
Paul was currently busy shooting for the seventh installment of his action adventure flick. Besides the successful Fast & Furious installment, the actor also acted in Hours which will release this month.
