Kapil will perform with his supposed enemy in Muscat today
Looks like the Kapil Sharma-Sunil Grover battle has finally come to an end. Why do we say so, you ask? That’s because Kapil Sharma who has won millions of hearts with his popular comedy show Comedy Nights With Kapil is soon going to perform with his supposed friend turned foe Sunil Grover at a show in Muscat. Yes, you heard it right. Kapil recently posted a picture of him and Sunil on his Facebook page and mentioned that he will perform with Sunil today.
Reportedly, Sunil and Kapil were not on good terms after Sunil who played one of the likeable characters(Gutthi) in Comedy Nights With Kapil, decided to leave the show to start a show of his own on a rival channel. Things got worse when producers Viacom 18 and Kapil sent a legal notice to Sunil which stated that he cannot play Gutthi on any other channel as the character of Gutthi is the intellectual property of Viacom 18. The notice also stated that if any production house or Sunil decides to use the character of Gutthi, then legal action will be taken against them.
Now that Kapil and Sunil are going to perform together, so can we say that the rift between them has come to and end? Well, only time will tell…
