Born of August 9, 1991, Hansika Motwani is one of the youngest actor’s in the South film industry, along being one of the most wanted ones.
The child artiste of the early 2000s, who featured in Hindi films such as Hawa and Hum Kaun Hai ? today ranks among the top-notch actors down south. She made her debut in Telugu with Desamuduru in 2007, winning an award for best female debut, and hasn’t looked back since then. She’s gone on to conquer Kollywood, too.
Last year, she starred in the hit comedy, Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, which marked Udhayanidhi Stalin’s debut as hero and Denikaina Ready. This year, she’s had some big releases –Sundar C’s Theeya Velai Seyyanum Kumaru (Something Something in Telugu), Singam 2 and has Biriyani, in which she stars opposite Karthi, awaiting release.
She’s currently working on the Tamil remake of Ishq, besides shooting for Vaalu and Vettai Mannan, being paired with STR in both. We don’t know if it’s working together that did it, but Hansika and STR have now declared they are in a relationship. Marriage, however, will have to wait, is what they have said. Remember she’s only 22.
