The source close to the development recently revealed that the sequel to Lara Dutta's comic caper 'Chalo Dilli' is on cards. The director Shashant Shah is planning to direct a film for Lara Dutta and the sources claim that the film will be the sequel to Lara Dutta's home production venture 'Chalo Dilli' starring Lara Dutta and Vinay Pathak in lead roles.
Lara , a new mother is all set to return on silver screen soon after enjoying motherhood. She is ready to work on the sequel which will be helmed by Shashant Shah who has earlier directed an offbeat film like 'Dasvidaniya'. Ghosh recently commented that they have been discussing about the sequel since a year and now they are into the developing stage. Ghosh revealed that they have done with one draft but he refused to reveal further details about the sequel. Shashant is currently busy with his upcoming film 'Bajatey Raho'.
The sources also claim that the journey now will continue forward to China. But when Shashant was asked about it, he answered that the producers will reveal about it at the right moment very soon.
