Manisha Koirala returned to Mumbai Wednesday night after spending more than six months in New York for treatment of ovarian cancer. She has become cancer free, looking for "great" as always. "Manisha has landed in India and that is absolutely fine now. She is looking as gorgeous as before," said Subroto Ghosh, director of Manisha.
The actor went straight to his residence in Andheri, a suburb of Mumbai, said Ghosh.
When the doctors announced they had successfully overcome the disease, she had called her "rebirth". The 42-year-old, who carved his niche in the Hindi film industry with films like Bombay, 1942: A Love Story and Dil Se, was initially admitted to Jaslok Hospital in Mumbai on November 28 last year. He later traveled to the U.S. for further treatment.
