Ekta, along with the leading ladies of the film - Konkona Sen Sharma and Huma Qureshi, visited Calcutta on Saturday.
"It's a new kind of supernatural film. You will see new talent in the film," Ekta said.
"The film has an interesting plot with many twists and turns. I am very optimistic about it," he said.
The trio attended a ceremony of cutting the cake irony lifestyle furniture and accessories brand which celebrated its 15th birth anniversary on Saturday.
Directed by Kannan Iyer, # # Q # # Ek Thi Daayan Q # # # # is a horror film with Bollywood actors Emraan Hashmi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kalki Koechlin and Huma Qureshi in lead roles.
The movie will hit the big screen on April 19.
