Bollywood's famous singer and music composer Bappi Lahiri cremated was merged into Panchtatva today. Son Bappa Lahiri lit him up. Bappi Lahiri's last rites were performed at Pawan Hans crematorium in Juhu.
Earlier, Bappi Da's last journey was taken out in a truck decorated with flowers. A big picture of Bappi Da was put on the truck and the last journey was taken out by keeping his body in it. Bappi Lahiri's last journey started at around 10 am from his Juhu home and slowly progressed towards Pawan Hans crematorium. Apart from the family members, some other celebrities including Alka Yagnik, Vidya Balan, Rupali Ganguly and Sunil Pal attended Bappi Da's last visit.
Apart from these, many celebrities including Bhushan Kumar, Nikhil Dwivedi and Babbar Subhash were present at the cremation ground. Mika Singh also reached the cremation ground for the last glimpse of Bappi Da. All the preparations were made since morning to bid farewell to Bappi Da at Pawan Hans crematorium.

When the body of Bappi Lahiri was being taken to Pawan Hans crematorium, Reema was crying profusely. She sat in the truck with the body of Bappi Lahiri and went to the cremation ground, crying. Babbar Subhash, the director of the film 'Disco Dancer' and a close friend of Bappi Da, was present on reaching the cremation ground. Seeing them, Rima wept bitterly.
