Jacqueline has impressed everyone with her act in Salman Khan’s Kick

The wait is finally over as Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez’s Kick has hit the theatres today. While the masses have been going gaga about the Dabangg Khan, Jacqueline’s performance is indeed not going unnoticed. Kick is certainly career changing film for Jacqueline. So while this B-town beauty is busy doing the happy dance, we, at BollywoodLife, go through five of her career highlights:
Kick - The actor is impressing everyone with her act in Kick. Especially in the Jumme Ki Raat song. Jacqueline will get you drooling with her sizzling dance moves in that number. It’s time to get over Katrina Kaif’s Kamli song from Dhoom 3, coz Jacqueline is indeed the new sensation.
Item songs - Like many other B-town beauties like Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline has not shied away from doing item numbers. The Sri Lankan beauty has two item songs – Dhanno from Housefull and Jaadoo Ki Jhappi fromRamaiya Vastavaiya to her credit.
Jacqueline-Deepika connection - Many of you might know this, but Kick was originally a Salman Khan-Deepika Padukone film. But as luck would have it, Jacqueline got the film. However, this is not the first time when she has outdone the Ram-Leela heroine. The two ladies shared screen space in Race 2 and Jacqueline did overpower Dippy with her sizzling act in the film.
Big Bollywood debut - Not many newcomers get a chance to share screen space with someone like Amitabh Bachchan in their debut film. But Jacqueline was certainly lucky as she made her big Bollywood debut with Aladin, which had Big B and Riteish Deshmukh in the lead roles. That’s not all. She also went on to share screen space with Akshay Kumar in Housefull 2.
Pageantry - Before stepping into the film industry, Jacqueline was a TV reporter in Srilanka. She accepted offers to join the modeling industry, which came as a result of her pageant entrance for which she was crowned the Miss Sri Lanka Universe 2006. She represented her state at Miss Universe 2006 held in Los Angeles where she was unplaced. Later she came to Mumbai to join the big bad world of Bollywood. And the rest is, as they say, history.
